Growing up in Parker we always
looked forward to Parker days year in and year out. Now being a mom, my children also look forward to the Parker Country Festival. We usually start off the day by watching the parade and then venturing over to the carnival rides ending the day with delicious and unhealthy traditional fair foods. This year was different, my daughter and I would participate in the parade. She was so excited to ride in the beautiful convertible provided by Medved of Castle Rock and wave to all the people. She took her job very seriously and would get mad at me during the parade if I didn't wave at every
single person. It was a special event and I was glad to share it with her. After the parade I took my position at the Parker Chamber booth and helped hand out upcoming event flyers and greet visitors . Emily and her son Anderson even
stopped by to say "HI".
|My boys were so excited to watch their sister in the parade, they just wish she would have been throwing candy!|
